Today as I rode in a driver in a white van decided to overtake me as I approached some stationary traffic. Unfortunately another van was coming in ther other direction and he pulled in before he’d actually gotten past me, forcing me to brake before he hit me.
Why he felt needed to overtake in the first place is a mystery to me as the traffic 30 yards ahead wasn’t moving anyway.
I had a word with him afterwards but he didn’t seem to acknowledge he’d done anything wrong. When I said I’d had to brake to prevent him from hitting me he just said “Well, that’s what your brakes are for”.
