When I first started cycling, I was concerned by how close some vehicles came to me as they overtook, so I thought it would be interesting to get some actual figures on passing distances as opposed to a gut feeling. This project is a simple ultrasonic range-measuring device to allow me to measure the distance between me and passing vehicles.
I have written this description to help others build similar devices. However, the pages are still under construction as I’m putting them together during my lunch breaks. Please be patient!
